When your anger alarm rings, learn to listen more

Yesterday, we talked about how to deal with anger caused by egos.
Today, we will continue with the topic "anger"
but this time is caused by ignorance.

When you make a decision too soon,
chances are you regret as things turn a different way.
Would it be better if you know every single aspect of something
before you make a decision on it?

Then, how do we know that we know everything already?
My answer to your question would be "to ask".
Does it hurt you just to ask?
No, asking should never hurt anyone.
If your answer is yes, that is a sign your ego is too big.
(Please read the previous chapter)

What should we ask for?
Ask for the truth.
Ask for the point of view of another person.
Remember you are not in someone else's shoes,
and even you try, you will never completely 100% be in someone else's shoes.
So it's best to ask, be open-minded and understand.

My brother and I were in the situation of anger and ignorance.
I was sulking because I felt that he didn't care for me as before.
I started talking to him less, and he got offended by what I did.
We had been distancing for months, and I felt even more offended
believing he didn't care for me at all.
Until he called and made up with me.
I said it wasn't my intention to ignore him,
and he said he didn't either.

The story seems to be a happy ending story now.
but in reality, no.
There will be more challenges waiting for us in the future, and that's life.
We just need to talk and listen to each other more,
so we understand each other more.

If one explains, another explains.
Both win.

If one ignores, another ignores.
No one wins.

If you keep reminding yourself of this,
there comes a happy ending.
