Now or Never (Carpe Diem)

Have you ever heard a quote saying "Good things come to those who wait"?
The quote is absolutely true only when you are not just sitting still,
being passive and waiting for your dreams to become true.
Instead, you need to grab the chance, do it now and work towards the end.

Carpe Diem (/Car-Pae-Diem/) is a Latin phrase
used to encourage someone to make the most of the present,
and put very little trust in the future,
because nothing is certain and tomorrow may never come.

I always wanted to move out of Thailand when I was young.
The two choices in my mind at many times were Singapore and the States.
I kept the thought with me and never really moved out
because I was afraid that it would not be as good as I wished.
I had a fear of failure and worried that I had to come back and restart everything again.

Until the day my mom said if I should go and try to find a job in the States,
I had so many conflicts in my thought at that time
but it took me only a week to make the decision and get a one-way ticket,
as I realized that if I decided not to, it would be "never" to me forever.
I would never dare to try, and learn and grow.

I've been living here for 3 years now.
It is not my comfort zone but I believe I could build up my own comfort zone again.
There are days that I cry but at the end of the day, I keep myself positive.
I believe that I can, and I will try... again and again.

If you wait until you are ready, you will never be ready.
Do it now, or it will be never.
Let's seize the day!
