When your anger alarm rings, learn to drop your egos

It is very helpful to see yourself in moments when you are angry.
It's like an alarm ringing you that it's time to calm down,
to breathe and to smile mindfully.

I understand that this is so easy to say, but very hard to do.
and it's even more difficult if you have allowed
the seed of anger in you to be watered frequently.

In my view, anger is born mainly from ego, ignorance and wrong perception.

When the ego in you is too big,
you think you are better and more important than others.

Ignorance is when you do not have enough knowledge
and you make a decision believed you know everything.

Wrong perception is when you may have misunderstood
what you heard and what you saw.

My day started quite red today.
I was very busy with work as I needed to step in
to help people on what's left undone.
At first, I was a bit angry as I think they should be more responsible
and this was not my duty.
At that time, I had too much ego.

I tried to calm myself down, by
understanding that everyone can make mistakes so to forgive people,
understanding the past due situation so my boss needed to ask me to step in.
He totally understood it shouldn't be on me and thanked me for dealing with these.
I worked on the requests until done.
At the bottom line, we work as a team.
We need to help each others and go as a team.
My ego is smaller.
