It's ok to ask for help

"If you don't help yourself, nobody will."
I bet you might have heard the sentence before.
That's a 100% true. If you don't help yourself, if you don't value yourself,
if you don't try to make things better on your side,
it's very hard that someone else will give you a hand.
So you will need to start from yourself first.

However, helping yourself doesn't mean you cannot ask for people's advices.
There can be a better vision if you take some steps back
and see the problem from further, as you will see the whole picture of it.
Have you noticed that if a friend of you tells you her problem
and asks for some advice, it's very easy for you to give her some ideas?
But when it's all about your own problem,
it takes more time and seems to be harder than usual.
That's because it's not only your brain that is functioning,
but your mind is also working very hard as well.

I got a chance to talk with a famous Thai influencer lately.
He has many online and offline video clips/teaching courses
and is followed by more than a million of people.
I was sad at the time and in need of his advices.
He listened to my personal story patiently, and told me what he thought about it.
It was hard to follow his advice - that's what I told him,
but he convinced me that's the best way out.
Sometimes the truth may hurt you so bad,
but ignoring the truth could hurt you longer.

I thanked him for listening to me and also giving me his time
knowing he is super busy. People usually think he is a life coach,
but he personally sees himself as a business coach.
When we have a problem and we do not see a solution by ourselves,
it will not hurt if we ask for helps.
Seeing problems from outside may make them clearer
and could figure out how to solve them faster.
It's absolutely ok to ask for help.

On the journey of life, it's okay to stop and ask for directions.
